Greater Cross-Functional Alignment vs. Faster Process Ownership Decisions

Business Context. Processes that span multiple departments require alignment on shared objectives, but reaching that alignment can delay the simple decision of who is ultimately accountable for the process end to end.

Process TRIZ Resolution. Rather than waiting for full alignment before assigning ownership, organizations should appoint a provisional end-to-end process owner immediately, with a defined review point at which broader alignment is revisited as the process matures.

Principle 10 (Prior Action) appoints a provisional owner immediately rather than waiting for full agreement.
