Maintain AML/CFT Records for Minimum 5 Years
What this control requires
Retain all AML/CFT records for minimum 5 years from end of relationship or transaction date: CDD files, transaction records, SAR files, screening results, investigation records and training records. Implement secure, access-controlled storage with audit trail. Ensure records are retrievable within 48 hours of regulatory request. Schedule destruction of expired records.
