What this control requires
Implement procedures for identifying, escalating and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to CTIF-CFI. Define clear triggers for suspicion. Establish escalation path from customer-facing staff to AMLCO. Maintain a confidential SAR register. Enforce tipping-off prohibition. File SARs within required timeframes. Provide quarterly SAR statistics to senior management.
