Customer Due Diligence Programme
What this control requires
Implement FATF-standard CDD: identify and verify customer identity using reliable independent sources, identify and verify beneficial owners, understand purpose and nature of business relationship, conduct ongoing due diligence. Apply risk-based SDD or EDD. Prohibit anonymous accounts. Terminate relationships where CDD cannot be completed.
