Maintain STR Filing Obligations to FIU
What this control requires
File Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with the Financial Intelligence Unit (CTIF-CFI) when there are grounds to suspect that funds are proceeds of crime or related to terrorist financing. Implement procedures for identifying, escalating and filing STRs. Enforce tipping-off prohibition. Maintain STR register. Report on STR statistics to senior management.
